I credit the aviation community, especially Lake Superior College, in helping me get to where I am today.

Every professor I’ve had at LSC has taught with an enthusiasm and sincerity that makes class wonderfully engaging and enjoyable. I will be proud to be an alum, and the associate degree I earn here will allow me to step into the greater academic world debt free and with a strong base education.

My LSC nursing instructors are some of the most intelligent, respected, and kind people I have had the pleasure of learning from in my life.

LSC does an amazing job of making sure students come first. Everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand. That really made a difference for me.

It was my dream and goal to work for the Duluth Fire Department. I knew it was competitive but I went for it. If you have a goal for anything in life, give it everything you’ve got and never give up.

I found my niche at LSC. It prepared me for the professional world.

…now that I have returned to teach I realize even more how LSC faculty set the standard for rich engagement with students and I desire to meet and exceed that standard whenever possible – whether it be on campus or in the hospital.

Earning my CNA and phlebotomy certifications at LSC were the first steps on my medical career path to becoming a surgical technologist

I have been fortunate at St. Luke’s to have so many opportunities to improve my knowledge base. My co-workers put care and dedication into each and every sample that passes through the lab. They work as a team to continually improve and communicate effectively

I chose LSC because of the unique cybersecurity program, the small class size to help me focus, and the reasonable tuition which fit right into my budget.

I took a few courses in Media Studies and just fell in love. During my time in the program, I felt my passion for the industry grow. I wouldn't be where I am today without that experience.

The teachers are really amazing here. They all care about their students so much.

LSC’s fire tech program did a great job in preparing me for the firefighting field. I felt confident in my ability to contribute to the crew from day one.

With high demand for med lab techs and scientists, you can pretty much get a job anywhere. The LSC medical laboratory tech program is challenging. It takes a lot of work and dedication, but if you push through, it is well-rewarding.

I love my job at IKONICS. My CNC degree from LSC trained me well for this always challenging, high-tech position as a CNC programmer.

The Media Studies program is a one-of-a-kind experience, and it teaches students the crucial skills needed to succeed in this industry. I know that every single opportunity stemmed from one place. The Media Studies program, and it set the course of my career and opened doors that changed my life. I still use the same skills today that I learned years ago.

I loved the Lake Superior College welding program. It’s a great program, very hands-on.

LSC's Massage Therapy program does a great job preparing students for the MBLEx. If you want a school that truly sets you up for success, LSC is a great choice!

I gained both accounting and marketing expertise through my business administration degree at LSC. These skills enhance my international translation business every day.

My Media Studies internship, camera-operator for My9 hockey games gave me my start. A weekend directing position lead to my current position directing weeknight news and the director of My9 hockey. LSC Media Studies has been vital for providing students for our hockey crew every year.

The Media Studies and Production program allows students to develop a leader's mindset and sets them up to achieve great results. It's also been a great place to recruit students for production jobs.

The Media Studies program at LSC gave me the tools and the confidence I needed to get my foot in the door and discover a career path that is both fulfilling and fun. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the encouragement and continued support from the program
