Policy 3.13 - Fresh Start
Part 1: General Information/Policy
Fresh Start is an academic forgiveness policy for courses taken at Lake Superior College (LSC) which includes those credits earned from Duluth Technical College, Duluth Area Vocational Institute, and/or Duluth Community College, that allows students who were previously underprepared, experienced an event that impacted their academic studies or desire a new academic outlook to receive a one-time opportunity to establish a new GPA.

History
Policy 3.13 Fresh Start had included the procedure in the policy document. During the review process of March 2024, without changing the policy, the committee pulled the procedure out to make it a separate document and numbered it 3.13.1 Fresh Start.
