Procedure 3.1.1 - Student Email Accounts
Part 1: College Use of Email
Official LSC email accounts are a mechanism for official communication within Lake Superior College. The college expects that such communications will be received, read, and acted upon on a frequent and consistent basis by students to stay current with college-related communications from faculty/instructors and administration. Official email communications are intended only to meet the academic and administrative needs of the college community. The Help Desk/Technology Support site has information about navigating student email accounts. All account users must adhere to Minnesota State Board Policy 5.22 Acceptable Use of Computers and Information Technology Resources.

History
Policy 5.2 Email Communications was rescinded and replaced by Policy 4.11 and Procedure 4.11.1 Employee Email Communication & Expectations. This left no policy of expectation in place for students. Procedure 3.1.1 was created to follow on Policy 3.1 Students Rights & Responsibilities.
