The annual Dennis Godfrey Memorial Car Show will be held this Saturday, May 5, in the lower west parking lot of Lake Superior College’s main campus, 2101 Trinity Road.
Celebrated in memoriam to the late Lake Superior College auto instructor Dennis Godfrey, the free car show is open to the public and runs between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The event includes a swap meet, door prizes, and live music. This year’s show features a pipe rapping contest at 3 p.m. Trophies will be awarded in up to 25 different classes, including motorcycles.
To participate in the show, vehicle registration is $10. Swap meet spots are available for $5. Vehicle registration will begin at 10 a.m. with judging at 1 p.m. and trophies to be presented at 3:45 p.m.
