DULUTH, Minn. (May 6, 2024) – Lake Superior College will present its Spring Choir Concert on Tuesday, May 7 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Commons of its Main Campus. This free event features the Lake Superior Concert Choir, directed by Cal Metts, along with special guests from the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Concert Choir.
The program will feature an eclectic mix of musical genres, including traditional choir pieces, classic rock hits, and selections from renowned musicals. Additionally, the Concert Choir will be joined by private music students for a showcase featuring solo performances.
In addition to vocal performances, the concert will also feature instrumental pieces and the Band Club joining the choir to perform popular rock hits, "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin and a medley of songs from "Abbey Road" by The Beatles.
Following the concert, the band club will have a jam session playing even more hits, including Green Day, Paul McCartney and Wings and Radiohead.
This event is free to public and takes place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 in the Commons on the Lake Superior College Main Campus.
