Lake Superior College will host their annual Aviation Open House on Friday, March 19, 3 – 6 p.m. at LSC’s Center for Advanced Aviation, Hangar 103, 4960 Airport Road, Duluth, MN 55811.
Strong workforce demand for aviation maintenance technicians and professional pilots continues in the region and beyond. Learn more about training options in these career fields as well as how to apply for free to LSC. The Open House is free and open to the public, however due to COVID-19 related restrictions RSVPs are required and the event has been modified to ensure the safety of all guests.
The Open House will offer visitors an opportunity to check out LSC’s aviation fleet, including an American Champion Citabria float plane, twin-engine Piper Seminole, Cirrus SR 20 Aircraft, and a Robinson Helicopter. Tours of the AMT labs include a hands-on demonstration of aircraft magneto timing. Guests can also check out the state-of-the-art flight simulators.
Physically-distanced tours will take guests through the hangar. Guests will be able to see programs in action and learn more about related program options, including:
