Katherine (Kayti) Stolp has been named director of admissions and recruitment for Lake Superior College (LSC). She previously served as the Carl D. Perkins grant coordinator for LSC.
She will provide campus strategic leadership for admissions and recruitment activities at LSC and work in collaboration with Institutional Advancement (marketing, public relations, community outreach and LSC Foundation), various departments within Academic and Student Affairs (ASA), and with external partners. She will oversee and participate directly in LSC’s student recruitment activities.
Prior to LSC, Stolp served as a career specialist/recruiter at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Superior for nearly seven years. She was also a senior recruiter in the Twin Cities metro area within the for-profit education sector.
She earned a master’s of education degree in counseling from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. In addition, she earned a bachelor of arts in communication from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
