Lake Superior College has hired Celeste Zuniga Brandt as the TRiO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) Grant Director. Zuniga Brandt’s responsibilities will include recruiting students to participate in the EOC TRiO program with the goal of successful college graduation. EOC provides perspective students with the support to enter or reenter higher education through services such as financial aid counseling, career assessment, and academic advising. Zuniga Brandt will work closely with community resources to both recruit and support students in their academic careers at institutions of higher education.

Zuniga Brandt served as the McNair Scholars TRiO Program Director at the College of St. Scholastica, and the Director of Alumni Relations at Lake Superior College. She received a B.A. in English from the College of St. Scholastica, and holds a M.A. in English from University of Minnesota Duluth, and a M.A.M. in Management from the College of St. Scholastica.
