Duluth, Minn. (March 17, 2023) – Lake Superior College will hold a career and transfer fair for students ready to explore future opportunities on Wednesday, March 22 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Over 50 employers offering full and part-time work as well as 16 universities showcasing transfer options will be on campus. “This career and transfer fair demonstrates to students the wide range of options to either continue their education or transition to the workforce,” said Kaitlyn Taggart, director of Career Services at Lake Superior College. “Employers and universities know LSC graduates have been prepared well to either hit the ground running for their company or as an upper classman ready to excel in a university program.”
Students will have the chance to network, learn about companies, and market themselves during this fair. Online resources to help students prepare for the fair have been promoted campus wide.
Employers with fair tables represent Duluth area pillars in the business community and the region. Governmental jobs as well as military choices will also compete for students’ attention. Newer Lake Superior College students not as close to graduation will also find the fair beneficial as volunteer openings and internships abound.
“Students are excited to start the next chapter in their lives,” said Dr. Patricia Rogers, president of Lake Superior College. “They chose LSC in large part because they can ‘start here and save thousands.’” “Now, many are eager to earn thousands!”
