Eight business students from Lake Superior College’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) Club earned a total of 46 awards (including six first-place awards) at the BPA State Leadership conference held in Rosemount, Minn. on February 23-25.

These students will attend the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Orlando May 10 – May 14. They will participate in national level business skills competitions, workshops, general sessions, and the national officer candidate campaigns and elections with 5,000 other conference delegates.

“I’m very proud of these students and everything they’ve worked hard to accomplish,” said BPA chapter advisor Barb Struck, who teaches in LSC’s business department. “I am confident they will do very well at the national conference in May. It will be the culmination of the business and computer skills education they received at LSC.”
