Lake Superior College is committed to creating an institution where all students not only have the opportunity to be academically successful but also to feel included and welcomed on our campus. LSC values equity and inclusion and actively works to create an environment where students from all backgrounds and identities can show up authentically at our institution. Regardless of your sex, race, age, disability, color, creed, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, or anything else that makes you who you are, LSC welcomes you as part of our campus community!

Lake Superior College embraces cultural diversity of all types. We are happy to welcome international students from across the globe to be a part of our campus and Duluth community. We recognize and honor our Indigenous students while we strive to create more culturally inclusive practices for Native students at LSC. Lake Superior College is actively working to increase anti-racist practices and policies throughout our campus through intentional, ongoing efforts. LSC is committed to creating a welcoming environment for members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community through a strategic educational and training plan. Employees and students have continuous opportunities to engage in culturally enriching and equity-centered educational opportunities. We invite you to join us in this work!
