Once a year, Lake Superior College’s Dental Hygiene program teams up with dental professionals, including volunteer dentists, to provide free dental care for children in our community.
The “Give Kids a Smile” program is a statewide outreach effort coordinated by the Minnesota Dental Association whose members are committed to providing all children with dental care and improving access to care throughout Minnesota.
LSC’s dental hygiene program is accredited by the American Dental Association, Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA-CDA).
Openings are available for any child under 18 years old who needs dental care. Patients should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Information on specific services will be outlined when an appointment is scheduled. Please call the school at (218) 733-6927 for appointments. Please note that walk-in care is not available.
